Feelin’ this bowl today! A gochujang bulgogi bowl marinated with sake, pears and more. Topped with white rice and a fried egg - easy and delicious!
Gochujang Bulgogi Bowl
For the Steak
1 lb top sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1/3rd cup sake
1 asian pear, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons One Culture Gochujang
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/3rd cup water
For the Bowl
fried egg, spicy mayo, white rice and green onions
To begin, thinly slice your steak and place in a plastic bag with your marinade. Mix together sake, pear, gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, ginger, garlic and water. Marinate to 1 hr or overnight.
In a skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil and cook your marinated steak for about 6-9 minutes on each side until charred and brown.
Serve with your rice, fried egg, spicy mayo and green onions.
